Ultra rare match worn home shirt of Oman's most-capped player #12 Ahmed Mubarak (Obaid al-Mahaijri) from the friendly against the Republic of Ireland played on September 11th, 2012 at Fulham F.C.'s Craven Cottage ground in London. The shirt comes directly from the collection of a former senior official of the Football Association of Ireland (FAI) who had received the shirt as a gift after the match. In 2012 the Oman Football Association (OFA) underwent a major revamp by introducing both a new bespoke national team kit and a new OFA crest to replace the outdated old one. The new kit was designed and tailored by Taj, a newly-founded Omani-based sportswear brand, and saw its debut in a friendly against Lebanon in Muscat on May 27th, 2012.
